Lorraine Carol McMinn

A memorial will be held at 1 p.m. March 25, 2009, at Drennan-Ford Funeral Home, 260 Monroe Road, Port Angeles, for Port Angeles resident Lorraine Carol McMinn.

Mrs. McMinn died March 20, 2009, at the age of 69.

She was born June 11, 1939.

Drennan & Ford Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.



Raeona Gruver

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. March 28, 2009, at First Presbyterian Church, 1111 Franklin St., Port Townsend, for Sequim resident Raeona Gruver.

A reception immediately follows in the fellowship hall.

Mrs. Gruver died March 11 at the age of 78.

She was born March 28, 1930, in Port Townsend to Ray and Glenice Ward.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Harold Gruver; son and daughter-in-law Ray and Penny Gruver; daughter Cindy McNeil; son-in-law Paul McNeil; brother and sister-in-law Nick and Renee Ward; and four grandchildren.

Patricia A. 'Patti' McLane

A memorial service will be held for former Sequim resident Patricia A. "Patti" McLane at 11 a.m. April 4, 2009, at St. John Catholic Church in Condon, Ore.

She died March 3, at the age of 71.

She was born Nov. 13, 1937, in South Dakota. Her family moved to Washington state when she was a child. She graduated from Sequim High School in 1955 and married her high school sweetheart, Richard C. "Dick" McLane in 1957.

The couple lived in Virginia for a few years while he served in the Army. They lived in Alaska for nine years and headed to Oregon in the 1970s. They lived in several towns and finally settled in Condon in 1975.

After her youngest child left home, she enrolled in nursing school. Three years later, she graduated at the top of her class at age 49.

She spent several years working as a registered nurse at St. Anthony's Hospital in Pendleton, Ore. She then helped establish and spent 12 years working for Asher Home Health in Fossil, Ore.

Hand-written memories of Mrs. McLane for a family memorial quilt can be sent to Michele McLane, P.O. Box 202, Moro, OR 97039.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Michael and Holly McLane of Powell Butte; daughters and son-in-law Michele McLane of Moro and Melissa and Jay Bluher of Fall City; sister Joann Pinnell of Port Angeles; six grandchildren; and many more relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard McLane and infant son, Maxwell.

William Eliot Prentiss

A service has been held for Port Angeles resident William Eliot Prentiss, who died March 15, 2009, at age 86.

He was born Aug. 22, 1922, in Portland, Ore.

Drennan & Ford Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.



Harold Jerome Kleve

Port Angeles resident Harold Jerome Kleve died March 18, 2009, at the age of 70.

He was born Nov. 21, 1938, in St. Paul, Minn., to Henry and Iola Struber Kleve.

Drennan & Ford Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.



Jeanne M. Dickinson

Port Angeles resident Jeanne M. Dickinson died March 19, 2009, at the age of 62.

She was born Nov. 17, 1946, in Hartford, Conn., to Henry and Rita Benoit Cyganowski.

Drennan & Ford Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.



Carol Cole Schiffers

Long-time Sequim resident Carol Cole Schiffers died March 18, 2009, at the age of 96.

She was born Aug. 16, 1912.

Service information and a full obituary is anticipated at a later time.
