April 1 is the deadline to submit one-act plays for the Peninsula College fourth annual Festival of Student-Directed One-Act Plays.
The playwright fills in the blank to the statement: "Freedom's just another word for ____."
The festival is part of Peninsula College's Spring Fling Arts Week celebration in early June.
Anyone is welcome to submit a play, which must include the words "red table wine, sage and a mustang" somewhere in the script or title and can be up to 10 minutes or 10 pages long.
Submissions must include character names, lines of dialogue, stage directions, and contact information including name, mailing address, phone and e-mail address.
Any genre is accepted, from comedy to drama.
Manuscripts must be typed, double spaced and stapled.
Plays should be submitted to Dr. Lara Starcevich, Peninsula College, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles, WA 98362.

Students interested in directing any of the one-act plays are encouraged to enroll in the spring quarter directing class, DRMA 230.
