Tickets are available for "A Taste of the Peninsula," to be held from 5-8:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Naval Elks Lodge, 131 E. First St., Port Angeles.

"A Taste of the Peninsula," in its third year, features North Olympic Peninsula culinary talent, wineries and food products. Wineries pour for tasting, and chefs and food producers provide samples, many with fresh fish and locally harvested ingredients from farms that include Nash's Organic Produce and Lazy J Tree Farm.

Also included are a YMCA Community Art School exhibit, the "Taste of Jazz Quintet" and a silent auction.

This event sponsored by Sound Community Bank supports Clallam County Family YMCA community programs and activities.
