Tickets still are available for "An Evening in Barcelona," the 2009 Harvest of Hope Winemakers Gala sponsored by Olympic Medical Center Foundation in conjunction with the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.
The gala is Saturday, Oct. 10, at the SunLand Golf & Country Club, 109 Hilltop Drive, Sequim. Funds will be used for the Thomas Family Cancer Center at Olympic Medical Center.
Cocktails begin at 6 p.m., dinner is at 6:45 p.m.
Featured are chef Doug Seaver of Cedar Creek Catering and wine importer Classical Wines of Seattle. Todd Ortloff of KONP Newsradio is the master of ceremonies.
Sample live auction items are two tickets to a 2009 World Series game of choice, four tickets to a taping of "Dancing With the Stars," four tickets to a taping of "American Idol," "Day of Beauty" for four women at the Sanctuary Day Spa, two "instant" wine cellars, two meals a month for 12 months at The Oak Table Cafe and Chestnut Cottage, and a private dinner for six with Washington state Attorney General Rob McKenna.
