The Dungeness River Audubon Center hosted 2,700 people for the 10th River Festival. It was the first time the event was held in back-to-back years and included a third day.

Bob Boekelheide, director of the Audubon Center, said he has heard nothing but positive responses from those who volunteered or visited.

"I think everyone had a great time who came."

More on the festival, the river center and upcoming activities can be found at www.dungenessrivercenter.org or by calling 681-4076.
