Candidates forum set for Oct. 8

A candidates forum is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, at the Sequim Senior Activity Center, 921 E. Hammond St.
It will include Sequim City Councilor Walt Schubert and Sequim Planning Commissioner Ted Miller, who are running for Position 2; and Sequim Planning Commissioner Mike East and former City Councilor Don Hall, who are running for Position 3.
Also attending are Jon Kirschbaum and Virginia O'Neil, who are running for Sequim School District director; Jan Richardson and Susan Sorensen, who are running for SARC Position 1; and Noelle Levesque and Robert Macaulay who are running for SARC Position 2.
Sponsors are the League of Women Voters of Clallam County, the American Association of University Women and the Sequim Senior Activity Center. For more information contact Candace Pratt, 582-0114.
