I read with great sadness of the passing of Fran Annas. Fran, along with her husband, Walt, have been super volunteers and providers of musical entertainment for many years in Sequim, Port Angeles and Chimacum. If there was music involved, they would be there to support whatever cause it was, but mostly for the senior citizens of the community. Of all the many volunteers and friends we made at the Sequim Senior Activity Center over the 15 years we were there, as well as the Port Angeles Senior Center and at the Tri Area Community Center, Fran and Walt were the tops. They celebrated their anniversary the same day as we did and we had many, many, good times over the years. The entire community will miss Fran tremendously. She provided musical entertainment for her many friends for upwards of 30 years in these communities and touched the lives of many people. She truly did leave this place better than she found it.
